Sapa rice terraces
As you might know if you’ve been having a look at my Instragram account, I’ve been traveling through Vietnam for the last 10 days enjoying what this beautiful country has to offer. It’s my first time here and 10 days is by no means enough to even scratch the surface, but we did manage to cram quite a few things into the itinerary.
One of the highlights was the Sapa region in Northern Vietnam with its gorgeous landscapes and its colourful people. I was there for a couple of days of hiking amidst the rice terraces and in between we slept at a local home which was a great experience in itself.
I would tell you more, but it’s time to get out and enjoy the last evening in Ho Chi Minh City, which also happens to be the Lunar New Year. So to all of those who celebrate this, a very happy and prosperous new year. I’ll leave you with this shot of the rice terraces in Sapa.
