The weather is heating up in Dubai and as always it makes you dream of the proverbial “greener pastures” and for me these pastures were in front of the Seljalandfoss Waterfall in the South of Iceland. It’s a beautiful place and one of the more popular and accessible touristic sights of Iceland, just off the main ring-road that goes around the whole country.
Unfortunately I had very little time visiting the waterfall and although I’ve posted one image from there before, I believe this will be the last one until I manage to go again to Iceland. What’s unique about this waterfall is the fact that one can go behind the waterfall where the water volume is simply overwhelming and where you can really feel the scale of the whole thing. Also, what helps with judging the size of it all is if you look at the person standing just at the right of the frame.
