Skating under the bridge
You might remember this shot I posted a couple of months ago of the Vasco da Gama bridge in Lisbon. I still have a few images of the bridge that I would like to post, but first I thought it would be interesting to show you the scale of the scene by posting an image with some kids skateboarding at the skate park located right under the bridge.
The kids were from the island of Cabo Verde (a place I would really love to go to at some point!) and were very relaxed about having someone with a camera sitting around taking pictures. They couldn’t do any big tricks, but they made up for it by putting a lot of heart into trying!
