This Japan trip has been a bit of a whirlwind, going from the X Summit Tokyo 2024 where I was invited by Fujifilm Middle East, to the snowy mountain slopes of Nagano and the famous snow monkeys found in the same area.
Initially when I planned to visit the snow monkeys, it didn’t look like the weather might be particularly cold or particularly snowy so I wasn’t sure if it will be great for photography. But Nagano delivered and on the day I was there, it heavily snowed and the place looked exactly how I imagined it, with the monkeys relaxing in their onsen (hot pool). I have a lot of photographs I really like from this place so I will be posting these for a while.
One other very cool detail about this particular photograph is that it was made with the recently released Fujifilm X100VI, which is an amazing camera I have been trying out here in Japan.
