Star trails
We spent this weekend camping and that gave me an opportunity to try something I’ve been meaning to try for a while. Photographing the stars as they move through the sky, while keeping the foreground constant. I’m not entirely happy with the photograph as it seems I allowed for too much time to pass between individual shots (my settings were 60 shots, each of 20 seconds exposure taken once a minute). Hindsight is a great thing and probably next I will just set the camera to take continuous shots so there are no breaks in the star trails. Having said that, I’m still posting this shot as it’s something new that I haven’t tried before and I would love to hear if you have any comments.
