While in Iceland, I was incredibly lucky with the weather considering that the country is famous for its ever-changing weather. Every Icelander will joke about the weather saying that if you don’t like it, you just need to wait 5 minutes and it will change.
Well, in the time I was there I only got a few hours of rain one afternoon while I was in the Westfjords and to be honest I didn’t mind it. First of all, coming from Dubai in the summer, any rain is good rain considering that the temperature here gets to about 45 Celsius every day! Second, with rain come dramatic clouds, which are always great to photograph. The shot below was taken on my way back from the Westfjords and I loved how you could just barely see the land in the middle of the clouds.
