Looking through some of the beautiful photos that Bjorn has posted from his trip to Iceland, it made me look through my Icelandic photos and really got me thinking about wanting to go back there. That’s not going to happen soon, so hopefully my upcoming trip to Argentina and Antarctica in November and December will quench my thirst for beautiful landscapes.
Until then I found through my files this panorama I never got around to post. It’s a three shot panorama of Snæfellsjökull, a mountain located in the Western part of the country and covered at the summit by a permanent glacier. This was taken during a 2 hour hike I did to the top of a small volcano with a beautiful view over the whole valley.
Also, just as I mentioned in my previous post, if you’re interested to find out more about my photography trip to Iceland have a look at the video I posted with the slideshow and the follow-up Q&A session during Slidefest last year.
