Sunset in Byblos
Byblos (also known as جبيل Ǧubayl in Arabic) is a beautiful Lebanese city on the Mediterranean coast about one hour away from Beirut. Byblos was founded around 5000BC and is considered to be the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world.
It’s a great place to spend a day at the beach, doing nothing but suntanning and sipping cocktails. It has a couple of really good seafood restaurants that are perfect for ending your day with a nice dinner. For me, it was one of my favourite places in Lebanon and I would love to go back there as I didn’t have enough time to take all the photos I wanted to take.
