As you might know if you’re following me on Instagram, I am currently for a few days in Buenos Aires, before I board a plane to Ushuaia in the south of Argentina where my Antarctica trip begins.
I am really enjoying Buenos Aires and since yesterday it was Sunday, the city was full of life, with many open air markets everywhere, concerts in the center of town and even a big production movie being filmed on one of the main streets.
One of the really interesting places I visited yesterday was Teatro Colón, a beautiful theater completed in 1908 and considered one of the best five concert venues in the world, acoustically speaking. It was recently refurbished so a guided tour is really worth the admission price.
I’ve got a few images of the theater which I will post in the coming weeks, but for now I leave you with this square crop of the building. I realize the square crops might be a bit too big for some screens so if you want to see the entire image just press CTRL and – or APPLE and – in the browser to zoom out.
