I would probably give just about anything right now to be relaxing in front of the beautiful Baobab trees on the Baobab Avenue in Madagascar. Things have been very busy here in Dubai and my travel itch needs to be scratch, but unfortunately, besides a couple of smaller breaks, I will have to wait until July for a longer break. Then I’ll be running my Iceland workshop and the plans are looking very good so far. If this is something you might be interested in, I’m currently putting together a waiting list and if there are at least 4 people I’ll be running a second one right after the first. More details here.
As for today’s image, it’s one of those classic cases when you should be turning your back to the main subject to see what’s actually behind you. It was taken during my Madagascar workshop I ran last year and as we all setup looking towards the Baobab Avenue and waiting for the beautiful evening light, I just turned my head and noticed this lonely Baobab tree. I went to have a look and realized that it was perfectly placed to fit between the trees in the distance.
