The garden of India
The locals refer to Bangalore as the “garden of India” and it’s not difficult to see why. Although with the IT boom, the city has grown tremendously and the traffic is chaotic there are still many parks where you can get away from all that hooting on the street. This particular park, called Cubbon Park, reminded me in some ways of a more basic version of Central Park in New York. It’s probably because it has roads going through it and personally I haven’t seen many parks with this particular feature.
