The Himalayas
After watching the news the other day about the climbers that died while climbing the famous K2 peak in the Himalayas I remembered about this picture I took while flying over Pakistan (where K2 resides) on my way to China. Although the picture is taken while the plane was flying at 11000m, the mountains look very close. I find it incredible that people climb these peaks, sometimes even without additional oxygen bottles.
