The kiss gate (Poarta sarutului)

The kiss gate (in Romanian, “Poarta sarutului”) is one of the masterpieces of Romanian sculptor Constantin Brancusi and resides in the main park of Tirgu-Jiu, the town where I was born. The tradition says that if a couple kiss under the gate and trough a coin on top of the gate, they will forever be in love.
