The Meydan Racecourse
The Meydan Racecourse is set to officially open tonight with the world’s most expensive horse race, the Dubai World Cup. This gave me the reason to post the shot below, a panorama of the Meydan complex, which I took a few weeks ago for a client of mine and which was not an easy shot to get. The entire complex is very impressive, but a lot of it is still under construction. I had to climb on top of some steel beams, barely wide enough to hold my tripod and balance long enough to take the shots that make this panorama.
