After living in the Middle East for such a long time, it’s fascinating to go to Europe to a historical town like Cambridge. Everything is different! The buildings are not higher than 3-4 stories, the grass grows without having hundreds of irrigation pipes watering it everyday and the people actually walk, instead of spending their lives in their 4x4s. I’m rambling… Anyway, bottom line is that, while I enjoy the sunshine and the lifestyle of Dubai, I do miss the simpler things of the old world. If you are an expat living in the Middle East, what do you miss most about your home? Is it the greenery? Or maybe the customer service? Or is it the summer rain?
As for the photograph, it was taken the same day as this one at the King’s College in Cambridge, UK.
