One of the cool things about shooting so many beautiful interiors for designers and architects is the fact that I get access to some pretty “out there” locations and usually manage to sneak in a couple of shots for myself of the views. This happened recently with an amazing apartment I have been photographing in Dubai Marina which had an incredible view. In fact, I’ve shown you here the view from one side of the building, but what I am posting today is the view towards the opposite side.
For those of you that are not familiar with Dubai’s landscape, what you see extending into the sea is the Palm Jumeirah development, a man-made development in the shape of a palm tree. As you can imagine, this is best appreciated when you’re high above the sea and although I very rarely use my 14-24mm f2.8 lens nowadays, I did have to use it for this shot as there was just too much to fit in the frame.
