Growing up in communist Romania, Russia was always present on TV and the Red Square in Moscow was always presented as the central point of the communist Eastern Europe. Although I never cared much for communism, I did think that the Red Square looks mighty impressive and I always wanted to visit it.It’s one of those places I had an exact picture of it in my mind ever since I was a child and seeing it earlier this year was a great experience. It’s every bit as impressive as I thought it would be and setting up my tripod, waiting for the “blue hour” around sunset gave me the opportunity to really take it all in.
