The three musketeers
Those of you who follow me on Instagram (you can find me by looking for momentaryawe), will have seen a photo I posted yesterday taken with my phone, while I was at a shoot in DIFC. This is basically a very similar angle to that one, with the exception that it was taken with my D7000, in between waiting for the people I was photographing. Although it was a really rushed shot, I’m quite happy with how it turned out, particularly because the sky is unusually blue for this time of year in Dubai.
As for the “three musketeers”, these are, from right to left, one of the Damac Park Towers, the Index Tower and the tallest of them all, Burj Khalifa.
While on the subject of my D7000, yesterday I said goodbye to my trusty D300s (which I’m sure will be happy in the hands of Gost Ridr), which I have sold, along with my Nikkor 12-24mm lens. The reason for the sale, I hear you ask? Well I’m really glad you asked! 🙂 I just ordered the new D800, together with the 14-24mm f2.8 Nikkor lens. Needless to say, I’m excited and it will be very difficult to wait the next couple of weeks until the new kit arrives.
