As you’ve probably noticed from the last few images I’ve been posting, I’ve been trying to mix it up a bit and post some older images as well, not just photographs from the most recent locations I’ve been to.
Today, it’s Iceland’s turn again. As you might remember last summer I ran a travel photography workshop there and this year we’re doing it again, this time in collaboration with Gulf Photo Plus. It will take place at the beginning of October and we’ll try to also chase the Northern Lights as it’s late enough in the year to get a few good hours of darkness. You can find out all the details and book your spot here.
As for the image above, this was taken during our first evening out shooting. We were all a bit tired, but super excited to be finally shooting so we stopped on the shores of a rift valley lake called Þingvallavatn. The sky was spectacular and the clouds were moving fairly fast, a perfect opportunity to do some long exposures with the Lee Big Stopper.
