As I mentioned in my previous post, yesterday I spent the day shooting at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) which is heaven if you enjoy architectural photography. There are so many interesting angles to photograph that you could probably spend a couple of days exploring the place and still find something new to photograph.
This is probably one of the most obvious places you could take a photo in DIFC and after seeing David’s shot from this location I really wanted to try and take a similar photograph. But I didn’t want to just copy his shot, so I thought I’ll go in a bit closer to the fountain and include that in my composition almost pointing the way to the Emirates Towers.
I really struggled to make a decision if I should post this one in black and white or colour and in the end I went for the black and white one, purely because I’m into a black and white phase at the moment. I am also posting the colour version in the comments below and I will let you make the decision which one you like more.
