Before I start talking about today’s image, I just wanted to celebrate a bit as this is my 600th published post, which makes it about 120 posts per year. This is not easy sometimes, but I have really enjoyed the experience so far and I truly feel that it has made me a better photographer.
The image you see below was taken during my recent trip to the far north of Norway. As you’ve seen from a few of the previous posts, we were there in search of the northern lights. However, besides the northern lights, Tromsø is a beautiful little town, split between an island and the mainland, nestled deep into the Norwegian fjords. A great way to view the entire place is to go with a cable car that climbs on top of one of the nearby mountains. It’s not the easiest place to take photographs from in the winter as the winds tend to be quite strong at the top and your hands freeze fairly quickly operating the camera. But the views are incredible!
