Just in case those of you visiting the blog on a regular basis were getting a bit tired of seeing only Icelandic images, I thought I’ll take a break from that and post another shot from my recent trip to Jordan. However, if you did like the Icelandic images, don’t worry, I’ve got quite a few more to post as it probably was one of my most successful photographic trips.
As you can see in one of my previous shots from Amman, the Jordanian capital, the city is spread across hills and it looks quite chaotic. To better demonstrate this, in the shot below I zoomed in filling the frame with the mish-mash of buildings, cars and satellite dishes. I also tried something new in terms of post-processing this one, using a bit of selective focus to give it that tilt-shift kind of look. I would love to hear what you think about it and if you feel this has worked in this particular case as I’m not 100% sure about it.
