Waiting for Batman
If you’ve just read the title in your RSS feed or somewhere else without seeing the image, you would be forgiven for thinking I’ve gone mad. But every time I end up somewhere high up above Dubai, particularly in some of the more busy areas, I feel like I’m in some sort of superhero movie, waiting for the main character to magically show up on top of one of these buildings, surveying the city and going after the bad guys.
This particular location is quite impressive as it’s not too tall and you’re surrounded by huge buildings which only add to the surreal feeling of being there. From a technical point of view, this is a flat stitch of two photographs taken with the 24mm tilt-shift lens, shifted up and down.
