Wall detail
I’ve been to Beijing twice and both times, almost everyday, the air was thick with smog. In fact, it was so bad that rain always takes you by surprise there because you can’t tell if the sky is cloudy or not! At least these trips to Beijing have taught me to not complain too much about the skies here in the Dubai!
What does this have to do with the picture below, I hear you ask? Well, when you can’t take a decent picture that has any sky in it, you try and focus on the details of what’s around you. This particular little statue was part of one of the walls at the Summer Palace, a beautiful collection of old buildings, lakes and gardens.
