I’ve already talked quite a bit about this series of seascapes I’m working on so I will not explain it again in this post, but I did want to tell you a bit about this image.
If you’re interested in photography, you’ve probably seen similar images like this one taken at Iceland’s famous ice lagoon – Jökulsárlón. This is probably one of the most photographed places in Iceland and this year I was amazed to see how many photographers were there compared to last time I was in the area. There were at least 40-50 photographers with fairly serious kit shooting on this beach and to be honest I felt like not shooting at all there. However, at the end of the day, this is still a beautiful place and just because there are many photographers everywhere shouldn’t deter you from making your own images. After all, photography is a very subjective art and each of us is showing the world the way we see it at that particular time.
