Young boxer
As I mentioned on Instagram, while in Havana, I was lucky enough to spend an afternoon photographing a local outdoor boxing gym (well, it’s actually just a boxing ring between a couple of dilapidated buildings) where the neighbourhood kids are trained by a couple of former professional boxers who invest their time to keep the kids fit and out of trouble.
I’m still going through the images to put them all into a series, but for now I wanted to share this image of one of the young boxers, warming up for his training match.
