Dubai Canal #1

When winter arrives in Dubai (well, considering it’s 25 degrees Celsius, it’s a very relative winter), I like to go out and document the new additions to the city. I’ve been doing this for over 10 years and it’s a fun way to keep track of this ever-changing city.

Yesterday, I had access to an interesting location that has a good view over the new Dubai Canal, opened about a year ago. If you remember this post, I actually went to photograph the canal right after it was inaugurated and it was really cool to make a few frames of it from high up. The place is just starting to be developed and I’m pretty sure if I will take the same photograph in 5 years it will look very different.
