If you remember my little architectural project I started about a year ago, you might think I have forgotten about it since I haven’t posted anything anymore about it. Well, I haven’t and I have been keeping an eye out for interesting buildings to photograph to add to the series. I’ve already got a few new buildings done already and I thought I’ll post again some of them, starting with the Dusit Thani building on Sheikh Zayed Road.
It’s one of the older buildings in Dubai, having been completed in 2001 (just about when I arrived in the region). It was designed by Khatib & Alami and it’s a mixed use development with apartments and hotel apartments. As you can see from the photograph, it’s quite a unique shape and I was lucky enough to get a very good vantage point to photograph it.
