Iskanderkul #1
If you’ve read my previous post about Iskanderkul, you’ll know that the lake is named after the famous Alexander the Great.
In the previous photograph you couldn’t see much of the lake as it was more about the Milky Way above it, but in this one you can admire the beauty of the lake during late afternoon when the sun rays are hitting the mountains at a small angle creating these strange bands of light in the sky. Technically, this is a long exposure using the Lee Big Stopper ND filter in order to flatten the water by blurring it.
