Life on the river #2
First of all apologies for the lack of updates over the past week, but I am busy making a lot of changes throughout my photography workflow as well as throughout the blog. Very shortly I will be announcing a coupe of travel photography workshops and if you’re interested in learning more about night and blue hour photography then you can still signup for the workshop I’m running at GulfPhotoPlus on Saturday. Shoot be a fun evening of shooting!
Also, this Wednesday, 3rd of October, I will be showing my “Life on the river” series at Slidefest, the event organized by GulfPhotoPlus every few months. It’s shaping up to be a great evening  with some really interesting personal projects being shown. The entrance is free and you can find more details here.
This brings me to today’s image, which I shot while in a pirogue on the Tsiribihina River. We were getting close to the camping spot for the night, but the guide decided to push on for another half an hour as the sun was dipping below the mountains. The colours of the sky looked amazing and I did have to push the curves in Photoshop quite a bit to be able to bring back some of that intensity that we saw with our eyes.
