As I promised, I am slowly going through some of the images I made earlier this year while on a 6000+ km road trip through Saudi Arabia and today was the perfect timing for posting another Saudi image as Saudi Arabia celebrates its 92nd National Day.
The country is incredibly under explored and the amount of things to see is staggering. You do need to take your time (and ideally have a solid 4×4) as the distances between places can be really big. The rock in the photograph above is nicknamed the Mushroom Rock and it’s about 120 km North-West of Al Ula. We made it there just in time for some amazing sunset light and ended up camping right next to it.
