The image I’m posting today was taken about 30 minutes before this one and if you didn’t recognize the building, it’s the Bahrain World Trade Center. As I said in that previous post, Bahrain has a bit of special place in my heart, having lived there for a few years and I always love going back.
As you can see, I went in a bit of a different direction with the post-processing for this one, converting it to black and white and applying a couple of fairly strong curves to really make a high-key image out of it. I always love to try new things in terms of shooting and post-processing and I’m currently in a very “architectural” mood. I’ve been shooting quite a few architectural photographs for myself and I’m busy working on a new portfolio site that will hopefully be ready soon to show you some of these images. Oh, and if you’re wondering where is the middle windmill of the building, because this was quite a long exposure and because those blades were the only ones moving, they were blurred out.
