Mount Kazbek #1
Since I have last blogged, I have finally reached my home town in Romania and after a few wonderful days spent driving through some parts in the Western and Central part of Romania I am now in Bucharest for a couple of days. From here I will drive north towards Ukraine and hopefully some more cool places.
Now to today’s post… If you look at the photograph I posted a few weeks ago of the Sameba Monastery you will notice the background is basically a really big mountain. The photograph above is that mountain which is called Mount Kazbek. You can also see in the above photograph the Sameba Monastery but this time a lot smaller – the photograph was taken from quite a lot further away. It still ranks as one of the most spectacular places I’ve seen on this trip and I’m looking forward to going back to Georgia for a few days on my way back.
