Those of you who’ve been following my blog for a while will probably know that one of my favourite places in the Middle East is Oman. It’s a beautiful country with lots of different types of terrain ranging from fairly high mountains to big deserts and great beaches.
Muscat (and in particular Muttrah Corniche) is a great place to walk around as there’s always something going on. You can visit the souq with its many intricate alleys or you can just walk along the sea and feed the hundreds of seagulls hanging around the water’s edge. The shot above was taken a couple of hours after this one last year in December as I was photographing the city for Ericsson and it shows the main part of the corniche with the beautiful Al Lawatiya Mosque at the left of the frame.
