Pigeons and rubble
As I’m sure you’re very well aware, Nepal was affected by massive earthquake earlier this year and Kathmandu is still going through a clean-up effort. Even eight months later, many of the temples in the central Durbar Square are surrounded by rubble and yet, despite that, life goes on and people go about their life.
Unfortunately, Nepal is really struggling, not only because of the earthquake, but also because of a huge fuel crisis which is making things a lot worse and according to some sources, will push even more people under the poverty level. With everything else that’s going on in the world, Nepal gets very little attention from the international media and most people never hear about these problems.
