Incredible natural pool overlooking the sea in Socotra Island

As far as off the beaten track places go, it’s hard to find one more out there than Socotra Island. The natural beauty of the island is spectacular and you could easily spend a few months exploring the various wild beaches and mountains, hiking through wadis to find interesting vantage points. This particular spot was probably one of my favourites of the trip and although the water in the natural pool was quite cold, swimming in it and looking at the view below felt so refreshing.
