If you’ve seen my previous post, you would have seen a few trees surrounded by a sea of white. That particular shot was taken during our second day of shooting in Hokkaido, but the previous day (right after we landed) we visited the exact same spot in completely different conditions. A beautiful late afternoon, with the sun setting right behind the hills where the trees were. The shot above was taken with completely different settings, this particular time going for a 25 seconds exposure to create a bit of movement in the clouds.
On another note, it seems we’ve been very lucky with our arrival in Hokkaido as for the last 2 days it’s been snowing heavily and all the airports were closed today. We’re making our way along the West coast stopping here and there to make some photographs. If you want to follow the adventure, my Instagram account is here.
