As I usually do after most of my trips, while I’m at the airport, waiting for my flight back, I tend to blog at least one image and reflect a bit on what I’ve seen.
It’s been my second time in Japan, this time spending quite a few more days in Tokyo and fitting in a couple of days in Kyoto as well. I think Japan is one of those places that the more you visit, the more you fall in love with it. There’s so much to see and experience in Tokyo that the capital alone could keep me for a few weeks. Then there’s Kyoto, the more laid-back, traditional city – I’ll definitely visit again in the future. And don’t get me started about the food – there is so so so much good food to be had!
So before I board my flight back to Dubai, I’ll leave you with this photograph of a newer area in Tokyo, called Shiodome, with the Tokyo Tower visible in the background.
