Al Ain Stadium
After ten years of running this blog and thirteen years of using the Momentary Awe website as my portfolio it is finally time to put the two together within the same site – up to now I have been using 2 separate WordPress installations which has been quite complicated to manage as every time there is a plugin to update I had to do it in both sites. It has taken me a good couple of months to figure out how to get the 1000+ articles from the blog to live under the same roof as what’s becoming a fairly extensive photography portfolio, but yesterday I’ve finally put everything online. So if you’re looking for my client portfolio, just click on “Home” or on the commercial portfolio on the right sidebar. If you’re looking for the photoblog (besides the fact that you’re already here since you’re reading this!), just click on the “Photoblog” at the top.
As part of this update, I have streamlined my portfolio section, with better galleries for each section and a new home page that should adapt better to individual screen sizes. Many of the sections have lots of new work in them, particularly the Interiors – food and beverage, Architecture and Healthcare / Medical.
As for the image above, it’s a photograph I made of the Al Ain stadium while on assignment for a client a couple of months ago. It’s one of those images that I made more for myself, as it doesn’t necessarily fit the client’s brief. Over the years I have added many of these kind of images to my portfolio – images that I really love, but that didn’t make it in the final client selection.
