If you have lived in Dubai for a while, Burj Al Arab has been a pretty constant landmark that you see from pretty much anywhere. Having been finished in 1999, it’s quite a bit older than Burj Khalifa.
The beach to the right of Burj Al Arab has been probably the most touristic beach for many years and although the people who live here only tend to go there for surfing, it’s still a great place to enjoy the sunset from. Unfortunately, the view from here has changed quite a bit in recent years and although I’ve made many photographs on this beach, I can’t say I enjoy it that much anymore.
As with the previous post, you can use the slider to see the same view in 2013 and in 2023.
