Driftwood #2

As I mentioned in my previous post, while in Hokkaido last year, I came across a couple of pieces of driftwood and the shot I’m posting today is of the bigger piece you see in the previous post.

I think I prefer this image to the one before as I think the composition works better having all these interesting layers on top of each other – snow, volcanic sand, the sea and the sky. As always I would love to hear which one do you prefer and why.
