As we’re all still sitting at home, dreaming about where we will travel next, I thought it was time for some more virtual fresh air and some more photographs from the beautiful Hunza Valley region in Northern Pakistan.
One of the most impressive places I visited while traveling through the region last summer was the spectacular Eagle’s Nest viewing point, right above the Hunza Valley and Karimabad. On a clear day, you can see 11 peaks in the 6000 meters and 7000 meters range and it was pretty clear when I was there. Although I didn’t manage to find out exactly which peak is which, this particular view from today was towards the East – if you know the names of any of these 3 peaks, please leave them in the comments.
