First of all, I’ll start with the biggest excitement I had over the last few days! My foggy shot of the Burj Khalifa has been featured as “Photo of the Day” on the National Geographic website. Not only that, but it seems that it has become the most popular photo of the day in the months of October and November with over 16.000 likes. At the end of the day, it could have had only 5 likes and I would have still been very happy. It’s National Geographic!!! 🙂
So based on all this craziness around the Dubai fog (the other images are here, here and here), I decided to post one more image taken the same morning, this time looking towards the buildings along Dubai’s main artery, Sheikh Zayed Road. On the right, you can also spot one of the Emirates Towers (still one of my favourite buildings in Dubai). Not much else to say about this one, except that I converted it to black and white using a red filter to increase the contrast in the buildings.
