Foggy sunrise in Dubai #6
As you might have noticed if you’re based in Dubai, the foggy mornings are again upon us and I’ve been getting out early morning to capture some of the sights. I didn’t want to focus so much this year on buildings popping through the fog as I’ll probably have a difficult time coming up with something that I’ll be happier with than I was with this one.
However, once I’m on the roof I can’t really help myself so I did end up taking a few images of the Burj Khalifa. The fog was not as well defined as it was in previous days and I knew I’m gonna have to do a lot of post-processing on this one to make something out of it. But in the end, after about 5-6 very steep Photoshop curves, I came up with the image below which looks very surreal. I would be really interested to know what you think of it as I can’t really make up my mind if I really like it or not.
