If you are visiting Tokyo and you are interested in architecture, one of the things you cannot miss is seeing some of the big fashion houses’ stores. Most of them have been designed by well-known architecture firms and some of them are absolute gems.
That’s the case with the Prada flagship store, designed by Herzog & de Meuron. Because of how built up the environment in that area was, the architects decided to only build on a fairly small part of the land available, leaving the rest to be transformed into a small plaza similar to what you would have in some European cities.
When I setup for this photograph, my idea was to make a fairly clean image of the building with as few distractions as possible. This immediately changed when out of nowhere a red Ferrari appeared and positioned itself perfectly in front of the building. I mean, who can refuse a Ferrari in front of a high-end fashion store?!?
