Layers of mountains #2
Taken at about the same time as the last image I posted from Faroe Islands, this photograph was also edited in a very similar way, focusing as much as I could on the shapes of the mountains, rather than the colours. I loved the way the sun was shining between the two cliffs, creating these really interesting silhouettes – sometimes it’s really useful in the field if you can visualise how you might retouch an image as then you will be able to underexpose or overexpose with that in mind.
