While client photography is still pretty quiet, I am trying to brave the searing heat and get out as much as I can shooting for myself, following up on a few ideas I have had over the lockdown months. Nothing very well defined at the moment, but sometimes this is how it works with photography (at least for me). You have an initial idea and then you go out to shoot and that leads you down the rabbit hole to other ideas which hopefully will turn into an entire project. As always, the most important thing is to just make sure you get out and use your camera.
As for the image above, I loved how the well manicured lawns look when separated from the highrise buildings by this stretch of compacted sand and a large highway.
