I’m spending a couple of days in Qatar, teaching a workshop for Nikon and I decided to come a bit early as I’ve never photographed in Qatar and I always wanted to visit a couple of places with my camera.
One of these places is the beautiful Museum of Islamic Art, designed by the famouse architect I.M. Pei. It’s a really interesting building that morphs into slightly different shapes as you move around it. I spent a couple of hours photographing it this morning and I came away with a couple of images I really like with the one above, probably my favourite.
