Nanga Parbat detail
Following the panorama I posted of Nanga Parbat, I thought I’ll share with you a detail of the same mountain shot with my 70-200mm. It’s quite funny as I photographed this image the day we arrived up at Fairy Meadows and the next morning there was actually a huge avalanche in about the same section of the mountain – I can’t tell exactly, but I think that some of that thick snow / ice part you can see in the center of the image above gave way and fell all the way to the bottom.
