New York architecture

There’s many things to love about New York, but for me, architecture is right at the top. I could walk for weeks looking up at the beautiful old buildings lining the city’s streets or trying to find new architectural gems.

Although this is not really a great architectural image, I do love all the mishmash of old and new buildings each competing for the most highest or the most modern or for the most luxurious. The tall, slender building at the left of the frame has only been recently completed, while the ones at the bottom right are probably at least 50 years old. That’s New York – a living museum with 100+ years of high-rise architecture.
